Child Safety Standards

There is no version of this service that includes minors. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation material, for any attempt to use this service to contact a minor, and for any content that sexualises a child. There is no warning, no strike, and no appeal.

• 18+ minimum age, stated at signup and enforced.
• Date of birth is collected at account creation and an underage date blocks registration.
• Age signals from the app stores. Where Apple or Google provides an age category under state App Store Accountability laws, we use it to block underage accounts. We use it for nothing else and we do not retain it.
• 18+ store rating on both the App Store and Google Play, with the Restrict Declared Minors setting enabled in Play Console.
• No public profiles. Nothing on Aligned Hearts is browsable, indexed or visible without an adult account.

• Child sexual abuse and exploitation material (CSAE) in any form
• Any content that sexualises a minor, including drawn, animated or AI-generated content
• Any attempt to contact, groom, solicit or meet a minor
• Sharing, requesting or linking to CSAE
• Accounts created by or on behalf of anyone under 18

Any account involved in any of the above is removed immediately and permanently, its associated accounts and devices are blocked, and the matter is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to law enforcement as required by US law. We preserve evidence as the law directs.

Aligned Hearts has designated a named point of contact for child safety matters, reachable at hello@alignedhearts.com with "CHILD SAFETY" in the subject line. This contact is available to users, to regulators, to law enforcement and to Apple and Google.

We comply with 18 U.S.C. § 2258A reporting obligations, with Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy, with Apple's App Review Guidelines on objectionable content, and with applicable state law. We review these standards at least annually.
